I like to think of this song as a sequel to yesterday’s Reba The Bar’s Getting Lower. If the woman in Reba’s song felt old and disillusion as she contemplated a one night stand, this song is how she feels when she wakes up the next morning.
Spoiler alert: it isn’t good.
Wow, what a song to stir up the guts. After listening, you are so glad that you are not her, she represents the women who go for one night stands that seem good in the moment, but the next morning you realize that you have to live with the regret, shame and how bad you feel about yourself. This song does this very well. After listening I thought that Reba didn’t have it as bad as this girl does. Good selection Egg.
